The wide body styling features voluptuous curves and a lyrical lines that are truly iconic and uniquely Vespa. A comfortable solo saddle and convenient handlebar controls deliver a special riding experience. the fully redone motor offers 145cc of smooth, easy power delivered to a 3 speed gearbox. Drum brakes provide adequate stopping power and 8” wheels provide nimble handling.
The 1960 Vespa VBA1T 150cc is a classic mid-century model from Piaggio, part of the iconic "large frame" Vespa family. It’s known for its clean, curvaceous lines and mechanical simplicity, representing a key stage in the evolution of Vespa scooters. This Vespa shows dramatically in a metallic silver blue finish in superb condition. Artful details include the shapely headset casting with a unique speedometer and round headlamp. The odometer shows just 8 kilometers since the restoration was completed. A spare tire is fitted to the legshield and a strong package rack is ready for whatever. A new Aquilia Continentale saddle looks great and rides well. Due to the design of the motor the VBA requires a 2% mixture unlike the 5% of earlier models.
Truly a machine to turn back the time, this Vespa offers a special riding experience and profound joy to view. Restored to virtually new condition and ready to enjoy.
