A new Vespa crate motor was installed several years ago. Recent maintenance was performed and this bike is up to date on service. This Vespa VBB features a four speed transmission. It is fitted with electronic ignition for sure starts and new tires for a smooth ride. This iconic, Italian Racing Red Vespa is a sharp looker with sensual curves and tidy chrome accents.
The 1960 Vespa VBB 150cc is a classic mid-century model from Piaggio, part of the iconic “large frame" Vespa family introduced in 1958. It’s known for its clean, streamlined shape and rotary valve motor, representing a key stage in the evolution of Vespa scooters. Cool details include the front fender accent piece, and the shapely headset casting with a unique speedometer and round headlamp. A spare tire is fitted to the legshield. A comfortable dual saddle as been fitted. Odometer shows only 3,043 miles, believed correct but TMU.
A vintage classic that is modern enough to enjoy around town. Overall very good condition, aesthetically and mechanically.
