An American market scooter originally sold in Saratoga, CA and lived for most of its life in Santa Cruz and has been well cared for. Sports original paintwork in very good condition on the mainframe, glovebox and horncast, with original Piaggio import stickers. Headlight upgraded to Halogen high performance unit. 12v electrics, all lights and horn function as normal. Fresh battery installed. Spare tire included in same rim color. Clear hi-vis turn signals added.
Engine upgrades include a 24mm Dellorto carburetor, a DR 177cc Performance Cylinder Kit, and a Sito Plus Exhaust. Only 300 miles on rebuild, just broken in and tuned. Runs great, much faster and better sounding than stock. Very reliable P series motor is fitted with oil injection so no premixing gas and oil. Only 4068 miles on odometer and overall condition is very clean so may be correct mileage but not confirmed.
Comes with original owner’s manual and original California blue/yellow license plate with dealer sticker. Decals on side panels are removable, but are covering some minor scratches.
Overall a very presentable and proud vintage Vespa with a professionally installed set of performance upgrades. One fun scoot ready to enjoy.
