1980 Vespa Primavera 125 Bianca (BM480) Offered at $12,495

A very Original unrestored example of one of the coolest models Vespa ever offered, this 1980 Vespa Primavera is a knockout.  Odometer shows just 10,431 Km (6K Miles) and the overall condition speaks for a Vespa that has been ridden occasionally and well cared for. The Original bianca deep lustrous paintwork is in fine shape with a few minor flaws.  This is set off with silver finished wheels and brakes.  A plush dual saddle is ready for 2-ups or just extra room to stretch out solo.

A covered spare tire is fitted to the legshield.  All trim, details and badges in very good condition. The chassis, brakes, motor and running gear all well maintained.  Overall a very neat example of one of the most fun Vespa models. This sharp scooter invites you to take a spin just for the joy of it.  One look and you can see the care and attention to detail put into it … it really is a super clean Primavera.

ABOUT THIS MODEL : 1980 Vespa Primavera 125
It is hard to beat the Vespa Primavera for effortless fun.  They are hands-down the easiest to ride of all of the vintage scooters.  The small frame Vespa was one of the last of the Vespa designs to be penned by Corradano D'Ascanio, the designer of the first Vespa.  It really is a beauty with superb proportions and perfect details.  This example offers a comfortable dual saddle with a passenger strap. There is an engine access door on the right cowl and a handy lockable compartment in the left cowl.  The large taillight is well shaped and integrated into the frame.

Originally conceived as a light 50cc city-scooter, Piaggio realized the potential of the design with this 125cc version - the Primavera.  The Primavera was the biggest displacement of the small frames and the most powerful.  At 125cc in the light and nimble frame originally designed for a 50cc scooter, the stock Primavera offers lively acceleration.  These scooters are very light and super maneuverable. They are perfect for dense urban environments. They were immensely popular in Europe, and there is a huge array of aftermarket upgrade options.
