1981 Vespa P200 E Beige (BM479) Offered At $11,975

The P200 E represents the final evolution of the 2-stroke, manual transmission Vespas and is known for its performance and reliability.  We found this beauty in northern Italy just redone by a well-known Vespa restorer. As you can see, the results are impressive. The bodywork was dismantled and professionally refinished. The engine was rebuilt and all wear parts such as bearings, piston rings and gear shift rings were replaced.

The electrical ignition, fork bearings and braking system have also been redone. You can see at first glance the high level of the quality of this total restoration.  Odometer shows 37K miles, but bike has been restored to virtually new condition. Runs great and no issues.  Ready for adventure and up to the challenge of modern roads and traffic.

If you went to your Vespa dealership in the 80’s, this is what you would have found at the top of the line.  It is a near-perfect time capsule.  Very roomy, comfortable dual saddle, folding rack, spare tire on board and useful storage space make this a true urban errand runner.  Perfect for blasting around the Bay Area.  Plenty of power for the hills and a passenger, smooth ride, great handling and good brakes.  This is a vintage bike that look new, with no performance compromise, ready for today’s city traffic.
