Well cared for and needing only minor attention, it has been revived, maintained and now has 179 TOTAL ORIGINAL MILES! Runs and rides perfect. The Honda CBR1100XX, commonly known as the Blackbird, is a super sport touring motorcycle produced by Honda from 1996 to 2007. The "Blackbird" name is derived from the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, a high-speed, high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft. The CBR1100XX lives up to its namesake, fast, stealthy and very advanced tech for the day.
Overall very clean and mechanically as new, this is a sensational collectable, Honda’s top of the line super sport touring machine. Featuring a fuel injected 153 HP inline 4 with a 6 speed tranny tucked into a sleek, stealthy fairing. Performance is astonishing, with a top speed of 178 MPH. Handling is smooth and secure with a preload adjustable fork and Pro-Link rear suspension. Triple disc brakes with three piston calipers provide confident stopping ability. Wheel size is a sporty 17” front and rear fitted with 120/70 ZR17 and 180/55 ZR17 tires respectively. Sitting on a 58.7” wheelbase with a seat height of 31.7” the Blackbird is an ideal size for sport touring. The CBR1100XX Blackbird was known for its powerful engine, comfortable riding position, and aerodynamic design. It is unique choice for riders looking for a fast, sporty yet comfortable motorcycle for long-distance touring.
Overall condition is very good, but there are a few minor nicks and scuffs from storage.
