Cosmetics are first class with deep Pearl white finish with silver flashes and Hayabusa accents. Wide 3-spoke wheels feature a complementary silver metallic color. Overall condition is excellent with only minor weathering, as bike was stored indoors over the years.
Mechanicals in superb shape as expected with the super low miles. Starts, idles, runs, shifts and rides like new. Tokico brakes with petal rotors provide ample stop. Power, acceleration, top speed and handling at the top of the class in 2006, still impressive in all regards today.
Decently comfortable riding position makes for a sport-touring vibe. Aerodynamic bodywork designed for lower drag and minimal turbulence at extra-legal speeds. Full instrumentation panel with ultra-thin step-motor construction includes fuel gauge, clock, temperature gauge, and an LCD odometer. A stout perimeter frame is fitted with fully adjustable 43mm inverted forks and a state-of-the-art rear suspension. Handling is precise and responsive, while delivering a plush highway ride and outstanding stability.
The 1,298cc engine features an electronic fuel injection system and Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM) plated cylinders for improved heat dissipation. This Gen 1 ‘Busa also features forged pistons and heavy duty internals so that it provides a solid, reliable base for high power modifications and full racing build outs. Stock, this monster mill delivers an output power of 175 hp at 9,800 rpm and 138 Nm (102 lb-ft) of torque available at 7,000 rpm and makes for legendary exhilaration and awesome acceleration.
