VESPA P200E (IC-224)

In the US, the P-series was sold in 125cc and 200cc versions (though the PX150E was also sold here in 1984 and 2005). They are smooth, solid, and have many modern features - especially compared with the earlier Vespas. The 12-volt electrical system, bright lights and turn signals, and comfortable suspension make them ideal for riding in modern traffic. Parts are easily available and reasonably priced. The P-series gives a good blend of the vintage riding experience, but with the practicality of a more modern scooter.

We found this scooter on one of our recent trips to Italy.  When we saw the condition, we knew it was one we needed to bring back with us.  It is in superb condition.  The paint looks really nice and it rides great. This is a "high option" model for Italy, and it has the auto-oil injection system, for ease of operation.  The P200 is a great way to jump into the vintage scooter world, and this is one of the nicest we've seen.
